We have completed risk assessments across our brewing, retail & office areas to ensure that our employees, visitors & customers can visit us in a safe way. You will find copies of these risk assessments available for review below and we will update them regularly based on new guidelines and the latest advice. Throughout the coronavirus pandemic our brewery has remained operational with a reduced team. As it is a food production areas strict hygiene and cleaning processes are already in place and the reduced team size has enabled us to keep sufficient distance between our brewing team members. As more people return to work our risk assessment identifies the areas that new processes are required.
Our sales and office teams have been able to work from home throughout the coronavirus pandemic with a maximum of 2 people in the office at anytime. Contact has been limited between the brewing & retail teams, whilst visits to the office are made for essential tasks only. As the hospitality industry reopens more widely from July more people are returning to work and this will be done based on the actions identified in the risk assessment, and continuing to have a reduced capacity and keeping the flexibility for non-essential work to be carried out at home.
Our brewery shop continued to service online orders with a very reduced team in April & May, whilst the Fur & Feather Inn opened for takeaway food & drink in the middle of May. As these team members have been interacting with customers throughout the lockdown we have taken the learning from this period and applied it to the risk assessment for reopening.
